Independent Living Skills

Hyde Housing is much more than a residence for individuals. We believe that giving residents the tools they need helps pave the way for a their long happy an independent life. Support workers cna assist to improve: budgeting and money management, cooking skills and good nutrition, access to health care, healthy relationships, cleaning skills and home management, training, education, work experience and local community engagement. 

Substance Misuse Support

At Hyde Housing, we try to assist individuals, to gain the tools they need for a long-lasting, healthy recovery. 
Trained Substance Misuse workers can assist with groups or one-to-one sessions, with an option of regular drug-testing. 
Our mental health, talking therapies can also provide useful support for long term recovery and understanding.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling

We acknowledge that mental health concerns are a common problem within our client group (vulnerable adults over the age of 18 years). This can include: depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Addictions (including substance misuse), Eating Disorder, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Personality Disorder.

Clients access a wide range of internal support including: One to one interventions, Group interventions,Guided Self-Help

Benefit Support

At Hyde Housing, we offer various forms of support for our clients and their benefits. From starting up claims to helping resolve outstanding issues. Our Housing Officer can assist with all queries, and runs a benefit drop in service weekly. Support workers are also there to review and support individuals with any benefit problems.

Education, Training and Work Experience

At Hyde Housing, we believe that everybody deserves a fresh start.
Support workers are trained to work individually with clients and their needs, to plan the next steps for their future. 
We work in partnership with many organisations, and can offer access to a vast amount of education, training and work experience placements, potentially leading to employment.
